After the absence of hygene in our Lhasa lodging, I was concerned what settlement to discover outside the capital, yet the Gyantse inn was a wonderful amazement.
The Gyantse is situated in a patio in the downtown area, practically around the bend from the principle shopping road. Still it was fairly difficult to find as a result of street development works going ahead in the road directly before the lodging. It took a few drive by's to achieve the passageway.
Strolling into the lodging, I was wonderfully astounded by the enticingly roomy and beautiful entryway. The just as roomy breakfast/dinging room is right beside the gathering and has stunning wall paintings.
As per the inn's leaflet accessible at gathering there are Western and Tibetan style rooms. We were given an unobtrusive western style room on the ground floor.
Our unobtrusive estimated twin room was calm with a decent view towards the serene back yard and the fortification overlookig the city. The room was all around cleaned contrasted with our Lhasa convenience and separated from the pot/waterboiler and TV, there was a versatile radiator to warm up the nippy night.
The restroom was spotless and helpful with a shower tub addition shower. In any case it required a long investment to get boiling hot water out of the tab. I spoke the truth to fill the shower tub with warm water from the pot when after around 15 minutes the tab at last started to appropriate pleasantly warm water.
The breakfast is a substantial smorgasbord with Chinese dishes and a reasonable determination of mainland sustenance. The cornflakes were much too hard and the bread stale yet the eggs and hotcakes were astounding. I adapted officially through the span of this trek to be content with ANY kind of western breakfast, so I was enjoyably astounded by the mixture here.
When all is said in done, an alright vacationer class inn to spend a night while on visit.
